5-10-2025 SNF Annual Picnic
Philippe Park, Safety Harbor
.jpg)
On a bright and beautiful Saturday morning, the Sun-N-Fun Vettes group met at Kohl's on Van Dyke Blvd. After a few minutes of conversation and a driver's meeting, the group headed to Philippe Park in Safety Harbor. The turnout was terrific, 34 members, the best of any event this year!

Once we arrived, the group settled into shelter #7 and began setting out the food while Ed cooked the hot dogs and burgers.
The park has lots of large shelters and plenty of beautiful, old oak trees lining the roads. There is a Togobanga Indian mound located next to our shelter. Naturally, we had to explore and climb up the mound, and from there, you have a gorgeous view of the Safety Harbor bay.

The food was fantastic as everyone brought a side dish, a salad, or a dessert.
Thanks to Debbie and Ed for hosting such a great picnic.
