Who  Are  We ?

Sun ‘n Fun Vettes was formed in February 1992 by a group of people who enjoy driving their Corvettes and wanted to establish a base for local Corvette activity.  Sun ‘n Fun Vettes is composed of Corvette people from all over the area, of all ages and marital status.  Their common bond is the love and respect for Corvettes of all years.  Sun ‘n Fun Vettes is incorporated in the state of Florida as a non-profit organization.  The purpose of Sun ‘n Fun Vettes is to promote the enjoyment and preservation of the Chevrolet Corvette.

 

What  Do  We  Do ?

Caravans - We caravan to various places such as Ocala, Naples, Silver Springs, Orlando, Daytona and many other cities and places.

 

Parades - We are invited to participate in various parades such as the Florida Power Parade, Veterans' Day Parade, and homecoming parades at local high schools.

 

Rallies - In a rally you are given a set of directions to follow that take you to a given point.  Rallies are designed to be fun and challenge the skills of the driver and navigator.

 

Socials - We enjoy parties and the chance to get together with other Corvette enthusiasts.

 

Trips - We support other car clubs in the area by attending their events.  Many members also attend other events such as Eckler’s, Bowling Green, Gatlinburg and major shows.

 

Corvette Shows & Displays - Many of our members like to shine up their Vettes and show them off to the public.   We also attend other club’s shows as a group.

 

Membership Information

To Join and start enjoying all the fun and camaraderie, just attend a regular club meeting and sign up.  You can download the club application form, complete it and bring it with you when you come to one of our meetings or mail it to the address indicated at the bottom of the form.

We hope that if you own a Corvette you will consider getting to know us.  You are welcome to attend any of our meetings and events.  Just drop in at our next meeting, meet other Corvette owners and enthusiasts and enjoy your Corvette with us.

 

Our regular club meetings are held on the third Monday of each month (except December) at

7:00 PM.
