On a bright and beautiful Saturday morning, the Sun-N-Fun Vettes group met at Bob Evans Restaurant on Morris Bridge Road.  After a few minutes of conversation and a driver's meeting, the group headed for an hour-long backroads cruise to Ferman Chevy on Adamo Drive.

Once we arrived, some of the members walked to the Veterans Appreciation Day Event lot, and some stayed to look at the Corvette Show at the front of the Dealership.  As we registered for the event, the veterans were given a super nice backpack and a chance to win a Crabby Bills Restaurant gift card.  We were then greeted by a Giant Steel Warrior for picture taking.  There was a golf simulator set up to test out our best swing, a tent set up for a free massage, an Axe throwing tent (foam axes), which Peter won a giant Modelo cooler by getting all three axes in the bullseye.  The Army had a tent set up, and a local band was playing great music for everyone. Oh yes, Mission BBQ had a tent set up to serve everyone BBQ sandwiches with mac and cheese. Simply Delicious!!  Be sure to visit your local Mission BBQ.
