Friday Morning Breakfast Group
Breakfast Group History:
After I joined the Sun N Fun Vettes Club several years back, I found out that a few of the club members were meeting on Friday mornings just to get together for an hour or two for breakfast. We used to meet at Bob Evans on North Dale Mabry, but alas Bob Evans is no longer there so we had to find a new place. So now we meet at the International House of Pancakes a.k.a. IHOP on North Dale Mabry. Sometimes 4 members show up, other times 14 members show up. Most of the time, 7-10 members show up. The meal cost for breakfast is about $6.45 if you get one of the 5 specials. The 5 House Specials are the HCOP, the 2 2 2 , the 2 2 1, the House Scramble and a new one, The BLTF. If you need the specials translated in english come to the event.
This function/event is open to all club members and the details are as follows:
WHAT: Friday Morning Get Together for Breakfast for Sun N Fun Vette Members
WHEN: Every Friday (rain or shine.... so far it has been 100% shine)
TIME: We meet at 8:15am in the parking lot. We're all seated in the restaurant by 8:30am.
WHERE: We meet at IHOP @ 11111 North Dale Mabry Tampa, Fl. 33618
Usually we park our corvettes 4 rows back in the parking lot. But last Friday 05/29/2026 I got to IHOP and noticed all of the front parking spots were empty. This is a first. usually 3 or 4 spots are taken. So I waited until the next club corvette showed up and stated "Hey, why don't we try to load up the front row with the corvettes and take a few pictures". Game was on. So we pulled up two vettes, then another two, then filled the spots up front.
