They say to treasure each moment, because you never know what tomorrow will bring.  Those words rang true recently, when we lost another cherished club member, our dear friend, Vilawan.  Little did any of us know that when we saw her at the last Club event, we would never again see her vibrant smile.

 

Vilawan was always busy doing something.  If you asked, she would always tell you about a luncheon she was attending or some other event coming up.  She was never boastful about the kind things she did for others.  It was just part of her everyday life.  At her funeral service, we got to hear many, many stories of her endless acts of kindness and love towards anyone she encountered – especially those in need. 

 

Vilawan was a cherished member of Sun ‘N Fun Vettes.  She looked forward to participating in the Club events, even though she and Jerry had to drive all the way from Winter Haven.  The miles didn’t matter to her because she so enjoyed seeing her friends and being a part of the Club.

 

We were privileged to spend a short time with Vilawan.  If we are lucky, some of Vilawan has rubbed off on each of us.

 

She will be missed and remembered of forever.
