Johnson's BBQ

3-03-2018

We had a P-E-R-F-E-C-T day for our cruise to Plant City and Johnson's barbeque.  Not a cloud in the sky.  "Sun 'n Fun Vettes" is our name for a good reason.  While we were putting our convertible tops down we had to be feeling sorry for those folks up in the northeast being blasted by a winter storm.  Nothing like that going on here and we were taking advantage of it.

We had nine Vettes for the cruise, and, as always, a bunch of Vettes in a line on the road is a beautiful thing to behold.  We had a nice leisurely cruise, taking the backroads to avoid the interstate and reached our destination ready to eat.  (But, then, we seem to ALWAYS be ready to eat.)

We had a great meal and good conversations and then, most of the group headed back the way we came to the Keel and Curley Winery for the tour and some sampling.  All in all . . . a great day !!!
