On Saturday, August 8, we met in the parking lot near the Wesley Chapel Best Buy for a cruise (by the back roads of course) to the Brooksville restaurant, Coney Island Drive In.  We had 7 vettes and 10 members plus a visitor for the cruise.    On the cruise were John & Edie R, Fred & Debbie C, Mike E, Gary & Linda W, John & Irene H, and Carl D with a friend, Paul.  When we arrived at the restaurant, Warren R was there with his vette and a friend, Dale to meet us.  So altogether, we had 12 vette lovers for our outing.

 

Before heading out on the cruise, John R our cruise leader stressed safety.  Posted speed limits would be observed and he cautioned us to be on the lookout for bikers on the back roads we'd be taking.

Our route took us through a lot of beautiful countryside with winding, tree covered roads.  A fabulous cruise.  And, as usual when we take these dining cruises, the food and camaraderie were terrific.
