On Saturday August 26th, we met in McDonalds' parking lot at the intersection of SR 54 and US 41 and left about 10:45 a.m. for a leisurely back roads cruise to Papa Joes Italian restaurant in Brooksville.  For this cruise we had 9 cars and 17 members.  Making the cruise were Arnaldo & Laura C, Nick & his son Carter M, Peter & Yaz H, Gary & Linda W, Lloyd & Carol J, Jerry & Matty M, John & Irene H, Anne G, and Dan & Cathy B.  The roads we took may well have been the best cruising roads we've been on.  A fabulous ride.  After enjoying that scenic cruise, we were all ready to eat when we arrived at the restaurant about 3 p.m.   Joining us at the restaurant were Debbie & Jim R, Harold & Alice W, John & Frances W and Edwin D & Miosotis C bringing out total group number up to 25.  A good turn out and we had a great cruise and dinner-get-together. The food was really outstanding. We had a nice string of Vettes on the highway, great food, and good friends.  Couldn't ask for better.
