On Saturday morning we attended the Old vs New Car show at the Groves Golf and Country Club in Land O Lakes. It was a cool morning in the high 40's soon changed to the 70's and beautiful day for a car show.  The cars were divided by 1989 and older and 1990 to newer.  The Groves offered a pancake breakfast in the clubhouse along with Garage One putting on demonstrations of their products.  A lot of our members have tried the products before and we have heard nothing but rave reviews.

There were 77 cars registered for the event.  Sun 'N Fun had 9 members, 4 new members and 7 cars attending. Trophies were given out for the top 15 old, 15 new and 15 for the Best of Corvette, Mustang, convertible, truck, mopar, foreign, etc.  Best of show went to a 1957 blue Belle Aire.  Lew  took one of the OLD trophies with his yellow 75', Nancy and Randy took a New trophy for their 2014 Lime Rock Green convertible, and Wayne and Butch took a NEW trophy with their 1998 Vette..  We all had a great time looking at all of the great old cars that you just don't see often.  We hope that more members will come and join us at more events.  Socializing helps remember names...it's simple, you remember them by their cars.
